Final Drive/Differential
Reliability - All final drive spindles, carriers and planetary gears are ultrasonically tested for cracks using state-of-the-art Cat certified tooling. Larger differentials are hydraulically stressed and relieved to ensure proper preload and tooth contact throughout the component's life.
Extensive use of sophisticated cleaning equipment includes high pressure, cabinet washers, ultrasonic cleaners and shot blast units achieving a very thorough cleaning of every component and part.

Transmissions and Torque Convertors
Reliability - Toromont Remanufacturing follows a 60-step procedure that runs through all forward and reverse gears, both at low and high idle, checks pressure settings of valves, lube flows and pressures. In addition, we complete test bench adjusted automatic gear shifts timing. We are meticulous about tight documentation for each exchanged unit. Each part is analyzed and tested to meet or exceed Cat specifications and all reengineering changes and modifications are documented when implemented.
